Deer Shadowbox

​Instead of my typical resin-set style, this artwork focuses on rich depth and raw texture. Inside, a beautifully scavenged deer skull is nestled within a crescent moon handcrafted from dried flowers. Suspended from an intricate gold prism are hand-wire-tied deer teeth, paired with sparkling crystals and hand-embellished gold filigree details. The entire composition is housed inside a custom wooden frame painted in a moody, distressed dark teal-green.

• H​ousing: Custom wooden shadowbox frame in a distressed, dark teal-green finish. 
• ​Dimensions: 13” tall x 11.5” wide x 5” deep.
• ​Specimens: Real, scavenged deer skull and hand-wire-tied deer teeth, accented with crystals, a gold prism, and hand-embellished gold filigree.
• ​Botanicals: A curated crescent moon arrangement of real dried flowers and mosses.
• ​Finish: Non-resin layout. Features a clear plexiglass cover to protect the delicate elements.

 Note on Authenticity: The plexiglass cover was removed strictly to prevent glare for photography, but it will be securely affixed to the front of the frame prior to shipping. The photos show the exact, finished piece you will receive.

Processing & Shipping Time:

This curiosity is pre-made and currently held in the studio, awaiting its new home.

• Transit Time: Once dispatched, shipping typically takes 3–5 business days to arrive, depending on your location.

• Meticulous Packaging: Even though this piece is ready to go, I take the same precautions as I do with my custom commissions to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Damages in Transit: I take the utmost care in securing the bones and glass for transit. However, due to the delicate nature of these preserved curiosities, occasional shifts or damages can happen. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact info@ossuaryandorchid.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging so I can arrange a repair or replacement.
