Preserving Your Curiosity: Care Instructions

Each piece from Ossuary & Orchid is a delicate fusion of organic matter and hand-poured resin. To ensure your memento mori remains in pristine condition for years to come, please observe the following care guidelines:

• Shield from Direct Light: While we use premium resin, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause preserved botanicals to fade and the resin to naturally yellow over time. Display your piece in a shaded area to maintain its original contrast and quiet beauty.
  

• Avoid Extreme Heat: High temperatures can cause resin to soften or warp. Keep your curiosity in a temperature-controlled environment, well away from radiators, fireplaces, or direct heatsources.
  

• Clean with Care: To remove dust or fingerprints from the resin surface, gently buff with a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
  

• Shun Harsh Chemicals: Never use glass cleaners, rubbing alcohol, or harsh detergents on the resin. These will strip the surface and permanently dull the polished finish.

• Handle with Grace: Though encased and glazed, the ethically sourced bones and dried botanicals within are real and remain inherently fragile. Avoid dropping the shadow box or placing heavy objects atop your coffin display.
